CWIP 2026 Board Recruitment

Chicago Women in Philanthropy (CWIP) is seeking new members for its Board of Directors—funders and philanthropic leaders with experience in philanthropy, institutional giving, and corporate or foundation leadership.

As a working board, CWIP Board members are both strategic thinkers and hands-on leaders who help shape organizational vision, strengthen fundraising efforts, and expand opportunities for women and girls across the Chicago region. Board service offers the opportunity to help guide strategy, build philanthropic partnerships, foster collaboration across nonprofit, corporate, and foundation sectors, and champion issues impacting women and girls.

Board members serve as ambassadors for CWIP and play an active role through committee leadership, community engagement, and organizational collaboration. Board terms are three years and include participation in quarterly board meetings and committee work.

If you are a funder or philanthropic leader interested in leveraging your expertise, network, and leadership to advance gender equity and create meaningful impact, we invite you to learn more about joining the CWIP Board.
