The All Stars Project of Chicago, launched in 2007, reaches more than 5,000 youth annually on Chicago's South and West Sides. As they approach their 20th Anniversary in 2027, they are embarking on a milestone fundraising campaign and a special celebration honoring their Founder, David Cherry, the founding funders, and other vital stakeholders.

ASP Chicago represents the organization's greatest market for philanthropic growth.

The All Stars Project, Inc. (ASP) is a well-established and thriving national nonprofit organization with the mission to transform the lives of young people from poor and underserved communities. By using the developmental power of performance in partnership with caring adults, everyone is given the opportunity to grow.

ASP's afterschool programs include talent shows, performance workshops, and leadership development. In partnership with the business community, they help young people develop professionalism while building community and imagining possibilities for their futures.

Founded in 1981, ASP has transformed its unique, community-based, grassroots programs into a growing movement that reaches 10,000 inner-city youth and families each year across six cities. They raise nearly $14 million annually in private funding for their “development through performance – on stage and in life” programs.
