Artmaking and Movement as Future Building

Put down your phone, step away from the news and come ready for grounding and community building with fellow CWIP members. Artmaking & Movement for Future Building invites CWIP members and friends to a creative, embodied experience designed to reconnect us with our bodies, imagination, and collective purpose. In this interactive workshop, participants will engage in guided somatic movement practices and collaborative collage-making (yes old fashioned collages!) as tools for grounding presence, expanding vision, and strengthening resilience — all essential qualities for leadership and community impact.
Through movement, reflection, and hands-on artmaking, we’ll move beyond traditional professional development to explore what the future we want to build truly feels and looks like. Together, we’ll create space for renewal, creativity, and connection while envisioning the possibilities we can cultivate as changemakers in Chicago’s philanthropic and nonprofit communities. This workshop will support the power of your own creativity while centering your courage, and joy! After the workshop join us for an optional dinner in Pilsen.
The main event will be from 5:00 - 7:30 PM followed by an optional dinner.

Event Refund & Transfer Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we strive to be as flexible as possible while ensuring smooth event operations. Please review our refund and transfer policy below:
If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. Many of our events sell out, and we want to make the spot available to someone else.
- Full Refund: Cancellations made 5 or more days before the event are eligible for a full refund.
- No Refund: Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations made within 5 days of the event.
- Ticket Transfers: You may transfer your ticket to another individual at any time prior to the event. To do so, please contact us with the name and email of the new attendee.
