Chicago area nonprofit professionals, this is your opportunity to meet with professional grantmakers and philanthropic leaders to connect and get advice on your burning professional questions related to fundraising. We expect your fellow peers on the grantmaking side will equally benefit and learn from you!

Who Should Attend?

Women and non-binary nonprofit professionals who seek guidance from grantmakers and philanthropic leaders who will offer their perspective, support, and questions about your work. Attendees should be able to speak to the work of your organization as well as your funding mechanisms.

To ensure broad participation from different funders and areas of expertise, representatives from private foundations, government funders and corporate giving and grant makers will participate by invitation only.

How Does It Work?

Similar to speed networking, you will be matched for a confidential small-group conversation in each of two rounds. We encourage you to prepare a few questions you would like to ask and bring them to the session. Are you being passed over frequently for funding? Not sure how to translate your mission into sticky language for grant proposals? Want to improve your presence while presenting to funders? Learn some tips for success!

Please note, in order to achieve a meaningful dialogue and event for everyone, this event has a non-solicitation policy.

  • Non-members: $50

Event Refund & Transfer Policy

We understand that plans can change, and we strive to be as flexible as possible while ensuring smooth event operations. Please review our refund and transfer policy below:

If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. Many of our events sell out, and we want to make the spot available to someone else.  

  • Full Refund: Cancellations made 5 or more days before the event are eligible for a full refund.
  • No Refund: Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations made within 5 days of the event.
  • Ticket Transfers: You may transfer your ticket to another individual at any time prior to the event. To do so, please contact us with the name and email of the new attendee.
