Readiness for Resistance - Part 1
Hosted by the CWIP Racial Equity and Social Justice Committee
REGISTRATION OPENING SOON!
The social sector in the United States is navigating fundamentally new terrain. At a time when DEI efforts are under attack, public education is being dismantled, free speech is increasingly contested, and democratic norms are under strain, it is critical that we are prepared to defend both our work and the values that guide it.
Chicago Women in Philanthropy is deeply committed to empowering professional women and gender expansive folks to grow personally and professionally and to advocate boldly for themselves and their communities. With our sector and our communities enduring unprecedented attacks, we recognize that there are certain skills and knowledge we need to equip ourselves with to sustain our work and build the world we want to live in.
Join CWIP’s Racial Equity and Social Justice Committee for a three-part summer series, Readiness for Resistance. Together, we will delve into a few of the different levels on which we must prepare to protect ourselves.
